Devon Mirabal MSW
Chairman
Devon was raised in East Stroudsburg Pennsylvania, holds a bachelors in Criminal Justice from the University of New Haven and a masters in Social Work from Hunter College. He is a New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Scholarship Program recipient. A fellow for the Institute for Nonprofit Practice - New York City Community Fellows Program and serves on the Junior Board for The New York Foundling.
Geurys Perez

Science has been one of his favorite subjects. Geury’s interest are in engineering, particularly physics and math. Geurys enjoys the challenges of using scientific and mathematical concepts when solving everyday problems. He also enjoys giving back to the community, fraternity, and families. Geurys has expressed that giving back without expecting anything in return, is a priceless feeling that he has always loved.

Raysel’s passion for finance began at SUNY College at Old Westbury, while pursuing his undergraduatedegree.
This is where he served as a peer mentor for first year students. Raysel will forever be fulfilled by helping people & will always carry out this foundation’s mission in life.
Lowis Ortega

Lowis was raised in the Bronx, he is of Dominican descent. He holds a bachelor's degree in both Political Science and Sociology. Currently, Lowis is an Immigration Legal Advocate for one of the nation’s most esteemed non-profit organizations, The Bronx Defenders. Lowis strives to uplift his people and community in every aspect of his life.

Miguel miranda
Miguel Miranda is an alumnus from the Mu Chapter of Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. Miguel graduated in 2019 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He now is the president of the Lambda Zeta Chapter of the fraternity and serves on the finance committee of the Foundation’s board.
Professionally, he has 3 years in the financial and banking industry; 1 year with Empower and 2 years with U.S. Bank. His skill set includes exceptional customer service to retirement and mutual fund accounts. Miguel is eager to
continue using his financial and accounting abilities for the benefit of the Foundation.

Currently, Miguel holds the position of Associate Banker at JPMorgan Chase. In this role, he is responsible for providing exceptional client experiences and business growth within the Consumer and Community Banking division. He leverages his deep understanding of the firm, the company's lines of businesses and Drexel MBA program to promote leadership and community initiatives in the Greater Philadelphia area. Prior to JPMorgan Chase, Miguel worked for Vanguard, Audi and other local banks, where he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and an ability to drive results, based on work and higher educational experience.
Miguel is currently working on his Master’s in Business Administration in Change Leadership and Strategy Management from Drexel University. He did his Bachelor's in Marketing Strategies and International Business at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He is a board member for ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals For America) as the Marketing Director for the Philadelphia Chapter.

Michael also served as community service chair for the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations at Binghamton University. Furthermore, as part of his professional journey, Michael continues to grow his graphic design skills in order to create content for himself and others.

Jonathan Cabrera is an alumnus from the Beta Chapter of Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. He serves the LAU Foundation as a member of the Programming Committee. He is currently working in the Aerospace and Defense Industry for Specter Aerospace. His passion for Aerospace has developed and grown to where he is today. He is affiliated with other organizations such as La Vida Scholars, and Lynn Tech Alumni Association. He believes being part of LAU Foundation will make a difference for someone. Speaking from someone who is a first Generation, low-income Latino. He wants someone to be successful as he and the people around him. His biggest accomplishments were to be the first in the family to graduate from a university, travel the world, and have a successful career path.
